Can anyone tell me where I can purchase Amaranth Red cellulose spray paint to turn my 1957 Triumph Speed Twin back to its original colour?
I do know of one supplier, but the cost per half litre is a lot more than I have ever paid for a full litre of car colour from my usual source. It would be wonderful if there is a supplier in Derbyshire, UK.
I have been told by some people that cellulose paint is now banned. Is that true?
Hopefully, thanks in advance,
Jim.

Hi twolitre, I don't know about cellulose being banned but if you want the actual coulour match then look no further than R.S Paints of Barnsley, 20a Racecommon Road.
I'm sure you can find them on "Google" I did, a quick phone call to them proved VERY helpful for me.

Hi
I have also been told cellulose has been banned in favour of two pack.

Thanks Cleggy, I'll follow that up. It seems I am not the only one who has been told cellulose paint is banned!

Actually celly is not completely banned, but is not on general sale. It's still available for vintage machines etc through a few suppliers. 2 pack is isocyanate based so beware, the average guy can't do it himself without special breathing equipment, causes asthma etc

Thanks TBS. That is exactly the reason, along with authenticity, that I am looking for cellulose paint.
