Title: 1931 Norton Magneto

Does anyone know what type of magneto was used on 1931 Nortons? thanks

the books I have started 1932 and upwards on Nortons it spec ifies Lucas Ring cam although it does say 1932 to 1933 had a different advance and retard arrangement on the magneto which was changed  I guess in 1934 one thing with Lucas magnetos and dynamos are stamp the year of manufacture somewhere on the body so keep looking and with luck you'll find one.regards Geoff
