Title: BSA identification

About to buy a 1967 BSA a65f. How can I tell if the bike is original or has been pieced together?

1968 was the first model year for the A65 Firebird Scrambler model as far as I am aware, although factory production of the '68 year models would have started during late 1967, the engine/frame should be stamped "A65FB" (101-on) for a '68 model year Firebird.
