Ok so in a moment of weakness I striped down the front shocks on my C11 all seems good but what should I be on the look out for I will be replacing the shock seals and head set bearings.... what weight of oil should I use in the shocks and how much? any other tips anyone can lend me???

BSA recommended SAE 20 oil but the forks were 'soft' some people used engine oil or even gear oil to make the suspension more firm. Alot of what you want is on http://www.britishonly.com/tech/manuals/bsaservicesheets.asp

OK thanks for the help got oil got bearings getting seals looks like it will all go together well... only one more question I can't find the answer in the service sheets how much oil is to be used in the shocks??? any suggestions please!!!

Ok solved this one myself.... 142cc apprantly.... now if my guru would finish my wheel I can get on the road!!!
