:) Obviously i am not going to ride the motorbike in dangerous road conditions but unfortunately needs must when the devil drives and i may need to use the bike to get me through the traffic in the rush hours this week. :(
Not only that the sun is shining and i really want to keep "sharp" and up to speed on the bike [Triumph Speedtwin 5ta].I don't want to be a fair weather rider either.
I am more worried about the road muck,we have had alot of rain here in the last day or so so i am hoping any road salt may have been washed away.
Any hints on what to wash the bike down with after using it please,i normally use a liberal amount of wd40 and oily rags.
All advice and hints appreciated as ever :)Many thanks

I suggest you use something like ACF-50 instead of WD40?

I've heard of silicone based sprays to protect chrome and exposed metal - probably safer than coating the bike in oil. Mind you, my old Bonnie does that to itself anyway! ;D
