And to quote Rambling Sid. "May your pot never be grungeless".

Happy Christmas to all the irascible old sods on here, the two-stroke fans (especially the Antipodean ones) the ever-optimistic (I've just bought this French moped...") Kempton buyers, Beardy Imp Man and his everlasting quest for parts, and even the sad knacker "do you know what someone's been saying about you?" individual of recent note.
Happy New Year. ;D

Reciprocal greetings to all. Try and stay safe and do your best to make out of Christmas what you can.
Dave.

I fekking hate christmas, always have done since I was a kid, when shit happens to me its always at this time of year.
This year one of the worst, and nothing to do with the chinky pox

Best of the season from the Antipodes. I’ve had a marvellous year here. The end result of all the isolation, lockdown and quarantine rules has meant I’ve had months and months of unlimited shed time without interruption.
I’ve done a pile of piddlly little things that have been hanging around for ages. Jobs that I’d been circling around because I was unsure of how to tackle them and jobs I’d been putting off because the end result didn’t really justify the days and days required to do them. I’m still doing one of them, carving out an inlet manifold from a solid block of aluminium. It’s fun bending files so you can file around corners.
So, Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year. 2021 can only be an improvement.

ozzies going soft?
put some expoxy on your finger and cover it in valve grinding past, no need to waste a good file.
-
Good tip. I’ll remember that for the final clean up but a bit slow for the roughing out. So far I’ve made a massive amount of aluminium dust and filled in hours and hours.

nothing on TV down there either?
