I'm putting a new wiring harness into a 1973 Triumph Bonneville because somewhere in its past some goob removed most of the old one.
After much head scratching and a few false starts, it's coming together, but one thing I can't intuit out.
Each handlebar switch set has 5-6 wires that have to be hooked up to the harness.
Is that connection made INSIDE or OUTSIDE the headlight shell?
Thanks.

Too long since I've had mine to give a definitive answer, but surely any wiring connections ought to be inside the headlamp to keep them out of the weather and to look neater?

*sigh*
That's what I think, too.
Mighty crowded in there. :)
Thanks

Going off on a tangent here - but some generic horn/dip switches I bought recently only came with about 18" of wiring on them.
So for general/most use, the wiring is too short to fully reach inside the headlamp.
And all on the market seem to be similar.
Who's brilliant idea was that. !
Yes I know anything to save a few pence ....
