The Classic Biker Bar / Re: Ebay - Good or bad?

AS said before E-Pay CAN be expensive. Parts often go for far more than they're worth, while others are far less than they're worth. ???
More often than not these days I buy very good used parts from shops/dealers cheaper than E-bay.

Hmmm, thanks for that. I guess that answers that one. Be nice to think you could at least recoup some of the effort in the future. Better keep looking I 'spose.  :)

Japanese Bikes / '60's? Honda - Worth restoring?

G'day all,
Having got my Z9 to where I want it, I was looking for a new project and came across this...
Wondering if anyone knows much about this old Hoonda? , and whether or not it would be saving, or not.
Would parts be hard to find?

In my own humble opinion, go with the "grease nipple in the elbow" idea. :)
Had the same thoughts with my Z, but I decided that the coatings of old yellowed/peeled off so didn't want to take the chance with the modern coatings either. I've had no problems keeping it all shiny, though I do give it a quick once over every 2-3 rides with Autosol or Mothers.
Besides....it can be good therapy.  ;D

Hey! G'day guys.  :D
Another Aussie here, albeit, a newbie to this site. Also a Ulyssian, so that says something about our age group ;)
Used to have a 754 as well (K6) wish I had kept it now, but a Kwaka 903 owner these days, with a hankering to own an old Brit. or Duke single.  8)
Look forward to some reading here.
