Excellent idea- cheers. I love a good bodge!!!

I've thought about drilling a small hole and tapping an  m5 thread so I can run a bolt through lever and into shaft but i'll try your above idea first as it doesnt involve drilling holes and weakening the shaft.

Any other ideas out there?

My SL seems very simular to my girlfriends old XL 125 but my bike has a twin down tube frame and the clutch cover sticks out further which means I cant just use a XL kickstart lever as it would foul the casing.

Does anyone know what other honda bikes are the same engine and kickstart etc as an SL?

Hello alll,
I'm new to this site and hoping you might be able to help. I'm after a kick start lever for an SL 125 as mine has worn splines.

Or any suggestions on how to secure kickstarts in place on classic bike with worn out splines?(not involving welding it in place...) The splines on the shaft are not to pretty either.

I'm really loving my bike- its my first motor bike and as I drive classic cars I thought I'd get a classic bike too!
cheers
