Huge thanks to 33 for the info. Thats me on the first rung of the ladder. All i have to do now is bring it home, find a restorer and then pay for the whole affair. Ho hum. One step at a time.   :)

Ok, these are the numbers sent to me tonight. I cant guarantee these are 100% correct but should be close.  Frame UUM70360B - Engine F?6  88290. The second digit is unreadable. Hope this can at least tell me what type of  falcon it is.  Thanks in advance

Can anyone confirm or deny its a francis b. falcon. Model 58 or 67. The mudguards are incorrect and maybe the seat. All advice welcome.

Hello all, can someone tell me where exactly i will find the engine number and frame number on a francis b, falcon. I think its a 1952/54. I need the numbers to properly id the model.   thanks g. Any other advice welcome. I know the guards are wrong.

Does anyone here have a great knowledge or a slight knowledge of said bike. My old man has one in running condition so i am thinking of using it to stop it seizing up. Is there a classic scrambler / hill climb / grass track  scene in the uk. If so, do they have a website?  cheers all  g.
