Hi.
I also have a 1929 S29-19 2 Port Light 500cc (Upright barrel) which sounds like the same model as yours, which wa salso sold new in Aussie.
What I know to date of the history of my old bike is up on this website at URL http://www.vintagebike.co.uk/Bike%20Directories/BSA%20Bikes/pages/BSA-S29-19-29.html if you're interested to maybe see if my bike and yours ARE the same.
Hope you had some luck in finding those parts. When we restored my bike in 1998-99 I found BSA guys in Europe (Netherlands particularly) were hugely helpful.
I currently need a kickstart return spring (Part No 15-280 in my 1929 Parts Book), though the same part is also stated as Part No M162; or Part No 27-4170 (for other models). I don't suppose someone can provide the number of the guy named in Wangaratta..? as I can't find this part anywhere here in New Zealand.
