Identify these bikes! / 1930's Triumph
« on: October 18, 2009, 11:33:50 AM »
I have just got what I believe to be a triumph from the 1930's or maybe 40's. The only number that I can find on it are on the engineand they are E420 on the bottom left side of the cylinder and under that is 1.S5.2139
Any help would be appreciated as I wish to start resoring this bike soon and want to get it as original as possible.

I am in the process of obtaining as much literature about the bike as I can. I have also found out that the engine still turns over smoothly and has compression so with a bit of a clean up it may even start. Wont fully know how far I need to go with the re-build until I get it here ans clean it up. Probably going to be the weekend after next. I live in Wollongong. Know of any good vintage bike clubs in that area.
