Hi I am trying to remove the sprockets from this 12C engine, I have removed the nut but the sprockets wont budge is it a case of heat and pullers or do I need a tool for the job. Any info or diagram for the 12C would be gratefully received. Many thanks Bud.

The number on the Headstock runs from bottom upwards on the left hand side as you look from the front and it is 44S45359. I will try and get a photo of the number sometime today.

I dont know if this will help if you decide to fabricate the plungers but this is what they look like. I think the center plunger bar is 8 inches long but you will know from the frame. I will try and get photos of the inners, ie springs etc and other measurements if this is the route you are going to take. I hope you find a set first. good look.

British Bikes / Headstock frame number.
« on: October 04, 2022, 09:28:25 AM »
Hi I have what I believe isa DMW square tubed frame, but the number on the headstock does not relate to DMW, just wondered if anyone knows what frame or model that this number belongs to The number is 44S 54359. On closer inspection it looks like the headstock may have been welded on to suit different forks for trialing or moto cross. Fingers crossed.

British Bikes / Villiers 30C primary chain
« on: January 07, 2022, 12:37:04 PM »
Hi being a novice on this engine i thought i would seek a little help. I have purchased a new primary chain for this engine only to find it is just as slack as the old one, it states it is an endless chain but can I remove two links and replace a split link to take up the slack or is there a tensioner on the market for this type of engine. Many thanks Bud.
