Wanted Bikes / Re: Scott Flying Squirrel late 20's to late 30's

Hello Chris, Good luck with your search. I have had a 1929 Scott 600cc TT Power Plus replica for about 19 years. I love it to bits. It flies along at crazy speeds, handles beautifully, excellent quick gearchange, superb brakes. It's not for sale, but look for one like this. It will make you smile. The post war Scotts are not so nice.

And this one too. So as you can see, I like all sorts and the idea of a 16h or Big 4 appeals to me . I use my bikes too.

I like the idea of a chuffing side valver for relaxed low speeds around the Pyrenees where I live. If I want to blast around at silly speeds on a vintage bike I've got this one to play with.

Hello, I'm looking for a Norton girder fork 16h or Big 4. I live in France, but can travel to UK no problem.

The threads are imperial. So I guess British or American ?

European and Other Bikes / Bianchi 175 Tonale
« on: December 26, 2012, 05:50:43 PM »
Hello, I recently bought a 1954 Bianchi 175 Tonale. It's got a nice chain driven ohc motor. and a duplex down tube frame. It's complete & works, but could be better if restored. I may leave it oily rag though. I got it running this week. I think it hasn't been run for over forty years. I need a wiring plan if anyone has an idea where I might find one.     regards, Nick.

Hello John,  Silly me. It makes a lot more sense mounting it like you say. The threads are imperial. There's a number on the box TM29723. But, what's it from ?

Hello all, I've had this gearbox for some years, but can't tell what it's from. It looks heavy weight, with a 4-stud top fixing.  Any clues ?

« on: November 02, 2011, 11:22:24 PM »
Hello, I'm new on this forum. I live in south west France and a few years ago I had a batch of JAP KTOR & JTOR parts made as I needed some for my bike I'm restoring. If anyone needs some new parts fully machined to fit these motors them get in touch.
