1968 honda cb250
« on: May 30, 2007, 08:09:15 PM »
I've just bought it as a first restoration project. the bike seems complete except for the exhaust although some parts are in a bucket supplied with the bike.
For the past few days, i've trawled the internet and am finding it hard to get information on them.
Does anyone know of any good sites or owners clubs that could help?
I've seen sites on the internet with engine (1001680) or chassis (1001374) numbers on it that tells when a car was built etc but are there any like this for bikes?
From what i've discovered myself, I'm under the impression that its a cb250k0.
Any information that you can supply would be greatly appreciated.
 with thanks

more research. k0 doesnt exist, people just call them that. basically it's just a cb250, later ones had the k numbers.
Phoned the guy I bought it from, he says put a battery in it and it'll fire up (a workmate i've bought from before, no reason to doubt him)
Is what i've got rare? It's a keeper, i like the look of it and wont be parting with it.
 cheers
