Can anybody help me track down the company who manufacture's the repro chainguard (one piece type) for this model thankyou

Hitchcocks don't have them ? Or point you towards them ?
What year(s) have a 1 piece ?, mine is 2 piece.
Makes it easy to do anything to the chain, including lubing it.

I think it was only the early model C/O that was fitted with the one piece chain guard ( only going on photo's in the Gordon Mays book) as I think it will fit my 1939 model j. unless anybody can help me locate a chain guard for 1938/39 model j many thanks.

There is usually a trader at Stafford that does that sort of thing. He does tool boxes, chainguards and anything that is pressed steel. Don@t know his name unfortunately, but he is usually there.

The average pedestrian is not going to notice the difference in shape ?
The extended back section keeps road grime off the lower chain run.
Didn't take much to fit something similar to a prewar.
Are these remakes totally like the originals, Enfields seem to have made a lot of models.
