What Norton Model Is This?

Hi, Can anyone tell me what Norton model this is? Year is supposedly 1953.

What would the price range be for this bike in this running condition stored for 25 years?

The bike appears to be a Norton ES2. The frame should be from between 1947 and 1952 as it has the rear plunger suspension. The engine and frame numbers would be needed to find the exact year.

I'm not an expert but the gearbox appears to be from a Triumph. And the bike seems to be modified quite a bit from its stock factory appearance.

No idea about pricing, but prices vary from country to country and knowing the location of the bike would help others give an estimate.

Sadly that bike is so far off stock that the question of "what's it worth" can only be answered by "whatever you can get for it".

Not trying to belittle it, but it really is a long way from standard...

It is easily dated from the frame and engine numbers. Provide those and it can be readily identified.
By the looks of it it has lived an unusual life hasn't it. I'm sure it would appreciate an owner who wants it to look somewhat like a Norton again.
