BLACKBURNE 350 CC ohv MOTOR
« on: June 24, 2010, 10:59:28 AM »
Hello,
I am restoring a Magnat Debon flat tank with a 350 cc OHV Blackburne motor from 1927.
In France very little people know about these motors. Is there any good information in the book from Collin Eddie "the history of blackburne engines" or in any other publication ? If yes is it possible to find or can I buy a copy ?
In the UK is there a Blackburne club or specialist ? Perhaps member of the Rex Acme or Cotton club.
Has any parts of this motor been re-maked by someone ?
Many thanks in advance.
Antoine

Hi Antoine,
You need the Vintage Motor Cycle Club. They have a very good library that has quite a bit of Blackburne material in it. Their website is www.vmcc.net .
Cheers,
