Barrels, Pistons, Liners
« on: March 02, 2021, 04:35:42 PM »
I have a collection of motorcycle barrels - my late father provided a maching service.

Not sure what they all are (approx 80-off), although some identified as 8/9/10 stud Triumph.

Also have some sets of pistons and rings (can provide a list), as well as a few various liners.

Looking to sell as a complete set if anybody interested?

I'd say you have a good few bob there depending on what oversizes they are, if you have pistons to suit, ker-ching!

I can spot Triumph,;BSA, twins and singles;AMC twins and singles and more.
don't rush to get rid .

where are you? I'd happily ID for you depending, and no, I'm not in the market for them, but that lot takes me back 40 years to the sort of job lots I used to buy

Thanks for your reply.

In no rush to part with, hoping to find someone that could take as a complete job lot.

Thanks for offering, I’m in Edinburgh, if it’s close then no problem having a look.

Yep, I reckon you'll sell all that no problem at all.

I'm about as far away as possible in wiltshire, so can't help.

What I would suggest is to ID as many as possible and sell either individually or in make specific job lots, match with pistons if possible, you do far better that way instead of selling as one lot.
Sell one at a time will be a pain but you get full whack.
I see no shortage of buyers for these provided they are  nor full oversize, broken fins etc.

Good luck.

I can see what appear to be a pair of Royal Enfield 500 Twin barrels (these are separate rather than in one piece like the Triumph ones which are the majority)
