I just heard today that Mick Hemmings lost his life on Monday.
I didn't know him 'that' well - but he and my father were great friends, and I only saw Mick a month ago (at my father's funeral.
), when he seemed pretty much his usual cheerful self.
I don't know if anyone else on here knew him at all, but he was a good bloke.
