Hiding away at the back of my shed for about twenty years was a small Honda bike with a T suffix on the number plate.
Today I have dug it out, almost complete, missing only the exhaust and a couple of indicators.  It is in rather sorry condition. What bit of chrome it had is rather rusty, but the plastic panels are in good order and marked "75".  The engine is obviously a two stroke.

I am not at all familiar with Hondas, my interest being classic British Bikes, so I tried unsuccessfully to find out about it on the Internet.

Can anyone tell me if the bike has any value? Or is it a skip job? I'm not holding my breath!

I can't really think what it could be, as it's a '75' T reg. (1979) Honda two-stroke?
Any chance of a photo or two? Or the engine number?

Hi, L.A.B., I'll see what I can do about a photo tomorrow.  I'll also look for any numbers. I know that there is an old V5 somewhere in the house, but I have not seen it for years. I'll look for that too.

Found the old V5. details are:-
Reg. YHL 813 T
Make Honda
Frame No. NF75 - 1004685
Engine No. NF5E - 1004443
Capacity 71cc.
First Reg. 19 01 79
Last change of Keeper 30 06 87

Closer inspection showed it had a total loss oil tank and separate petrol tank under the seat.  The plastic side panels have "HondaVmatic 75" Logos. It is, as the Logo suggests, a 'twist and go' (if it runs). It turns over easily and has good compression so it may start with new petrol and oil.  Incidentally it has less than 6000 miles on the clock.

I have taken photos with and without panelling which I will TRY to post.

For the sake of a bit of time I would get it running and stick it on ebay. If it won't go advertise it as such. There are plenty of people out there and it only takes one to place a bid and its gone from your garage forever. If it was a moped you might get more response but you never know.

Hi,
I needed new ridge tiles on my garage and being the wrong side of 70 I did not feel inclined to do the job myself.  Though I would have not many years ago.
  The builder I asked to come and quote was rather taken by the 75 , which was parked outside untouched since the photo.  I said I would swap him the bike for the roof tile job!
  He's got the bike. I've got the job done.  I never did get a quote, so I am not sure who got the best part of the deal, but the bike is gone!
