Fraud Warning
« on: August 28, 2008, 04:55:16 PM »
If you are thinking of buying or selling a bike - please be careful.  There are criminals out there who will try to take your money!

Beware of seller Jaya Kencana of Indonesia.  He "sells" many bikes and has taken money from many people.  Do not deal with him.

A list of known criminal buyers that have tried to con sellers on this site is available at http://www.vintagebike.co.uk/Classifieds/pages.php?page=9

Has anyone else had any problems getting paid by Cotswold Classics?
They took 3 bikes of mine last October, promised money in 7 days, sold them all, and I have had to engage solicitors to take them to court as they will not pay or respond.
4 months later still not a penny!

I am pleased to report that Paul at Cotswold classics has now paid me in full, for the James Motorcycles.

He has also paid the solicitors fees.

He states that he had been ill.

Topic closed as far as I am concerned.

Thanks forum.
