Hi all i have just bought a 1978 GS550 its a stolen recovery. I have been researching for a while and am preped for the pro,s & cons :)

as you disassemble the bike to restore, make sure you take video and pics for memory.  Baggy small screws and parts and label them.   Take your time and do it right.  If you have any leaks, while the engine is out,  go ahead and get her fixed.

just some advice.  Post pics of your progress, id love to watch it get done.
