The Levis Cup Road Trial this sunday 29th 100th

The Levis Cup Road Trial is the premier event organised by The North Birmingham Section of the VMCC. It is the oldest road trial in the vintage calendar and is one of the most challenging. It is also one of the few really competitive VMCC events and attracts entries from all corners of the UK and beyond.

The organisers have always kept the event as near to the original format as possible, but some changes have been made over the years. The Levis Cup is restricted to machines manufactured before 1946, and starts and finishes at The Lenchford Hotel at Shrawley, Worcestershire with a lunch stop at Ludlow. The route is about 100 miles, run over quiet scenic country roads in Worcestershire and Shropshire

be there or die knowing you missed it

Be there, or be assured that you have missed a great day.

I rode it last year and came away with a gong for best overseas rider.  Suspect it was a field of one, but I was flattered.

The event is very, very cleverly balanced so that every rider has a fair chance, based on riding skill, to win, regardless of machine age or type.  A single speed belt driver actually has a few advantages in the formula.

So if you're wavering, waver no more; be a part of it.

cheers,
