You won't get far saying you want a Raleigh gearbox. They used a Sturmey Archer box which although made by Raleigh was forever known and supplied as a Sturmey Archer. There is no such animal as a Raleigh box.
On top of this there was a range of Sturmey Archer boxes. You need to be a bit more specific and say what model Raleigh you are restoring and what model S/A box you are after. Being vague makes it hard.
Tell us a little more and perhaps someone can help.
Cheers,

The Raleigh used a Sturmey Archer gearbox, similar/same as Nortons and a number of other makers used.
There were a few different models of these, what model Raleigh(s) are involved ?

Someone in the UK is making new main bearings for these, at a fair premium price, but it is a custom bearing.
Otherwise, trawling through swap meets and ebay listings may happen to produce what ye seek.
A heavyweight SA gearbox changed hands recently, somewhere about the $1200 mark, they do appear sporadically.
Contacting your local vintage club may produce some contacts, these things tend to be hoarded these days,
and are somewhat sought after.
Hopethishelps.

Parts? I saw a front wheel recently, 32 spoke, 5" brake, very early style wired-on rim.

There is a fellow who produces fake Zenith s and replica Broughs and sells them for high prices, often on Aus ebay.He generally sells all the SturmeyArcher bits left over after the build on ebay .Obviously he only uses LS boxes ,but the laydown type casings used by Raliegh are no use ,and are sold less internals.Ive bought JAP parts from him at cheap prices,as well as Enfield wheel bits.I think he lives in Melbourne. Some one in the vintage bike scene will know him,so ask locally.Regards John.
