Pictures & attachments.
« on: June 08, 2018, 02:23:47 PM »
Pictures attached to posts are shown in very small format. When I click on them they become huge and I have to reduce my screen many times to view the complete image in full screen. Other sites just show a picture or image at normal screen size.
Do we know the reason for this?

I'll do a test of one of my bikes.

OK it's not a bike, I just wondered if there was a size option for the image. It's shown about quarter size with the post.

Hi TGR90B,
Yes it's a pain,
Posters do not reduce the picture size before attaching,
This also takes up unnecessary server space, some forums have a limit on image size
I think 640 x 480 size works ok???

Thanks John, but I didn't see an option to select image size. Another site that we're both on seems to have the same board host, but no problem with picture size. It's no great issue for me.

Hi TGR90B,

The person submitting the photo's need to reduce the photo resolution,
Some forum's have different size limits for photos
The other forum is well and closely managed and photo posting mistakes are quickly corrected
