I had to think twice what you meant there. I suppose you mean "Corgi" the little small wheeled effort from the 1950s?

thanks for reply , yes you are right small wheels , forks fold down on top of the petrol tank ,the seat on its fixing post pushes down in , these bikes fitted in a cylindrical tube and they were  dropped out of planes during the war,

The WW2 Welbikes didn't have a kickstarter - they were pushed to start ?
The postwar Brockhouse Corgi did, also sold as the Indian Papoose.

This one looks to have an Enfield kickstarter fitted ?

That wasn't a Corgi but a Welbike. I believe they very different even though people seem to group them together. The Welbike never had mudguards or a front brake.

Yes Rex, I  also got fed up telling the owners of khaki painted Corgis the difference between a Welbike and a Corgi, don't bother anymore.

Ignorance is bliss amongst huge areas of the old  bike movement.

Kickstarters look to be thin on the ground, when you search for them ?
Competition for them may be fierce too, keep searching - and beat the pack ?

If it might take a while to turn up one, that Royal Enfield one grafted on may be the
difference between having it mobile or not... ?
Although a push start will likely not be too difficult either ??

keep your eye on ebay and do the rounds of the jumbles is all I can suggest.
