Help, What Motorcycle Does This Gas Tank Belong On

I recently came across a gas tank that I found inside of a storage building. I searched the internet but have been unable to figure out what motorcycle it fits. It measures 16" long, 10-1/2" wide at the front, 5-1/2" wide at the rear, and 6-1/2" high. I would appreciate any help in identifying it. Photos attached.

Isn't that something along the lines of an old Cossack/Dnepr/Ural  ?
The fuel tap/filter says its something not really that old, and somewhat rugged.

That is the closest photo I have seen on one. I don't have a clue what it came off of. Like you said, judging by the fuel connection, it appears to be less than 50 years old, but I am unsure about that.

OK. I was finally able to identify the fuel tank. It came off of an early 1960s Cushman Silver Eagle.

Goodness, however did you track that down. Well done that man.
I'd have bet London to a brick that a Ural was involved....

(Of course, if any threads are UNF and not metric, that might be a bit of a giveaway).
(And it may help if Cushmans (Cushmen ?) are a local delicacy, mostly unknown in other parts ?)

I asked the same question on Motorcycle Forum. I received the answer in two days. I got lucky and someone who knew read it and answered my question. I spent some time looking at pictures to verify and narrow down models and years used.
