 ;D  Hi guys...   I'm just new to all of this so please excuse me if i bugger up...   :-[
can anyone identify this bike...
The picture is of a friend's Gran, and it is beleived she was born around 1870? so I'm thinking maybe the pic is mid 20's?   (sorry Gran   :o  )
I'm thinking maybe its a RALEIGH about 1925/6?
any ideas????   ???

Its a Triumph.....from the "P" Model family, its a flat tank with a drum front brake so it is not the first model with the useless brake.

Afraid not; but yes. it's Model P 'family'. It's a 1927 Triumph Model N. (Non-Druid style forks, primary silencer and fishtail on the end of the tailpipe.)

Gran doesn't look to be 57, and is certainly too well dressed to be associated with the bike.

Yes it is certainly a Triumph, canot quite make out the reg. If it is WE, which is Sheffield then it could be registered in 1928 as I used to own WE 1946 which certainly was. If it is VE then it could be from a Scottish series., possibly Lanark. Best of luck anyway. V.twin.14
