i have recently aquired an unknown headlight lens and chrome surround. the headlight is a lucas 575 continental and the surround is chrome, straight and approx 2.5 inches in length. it uses 3 pin bayonet headlight bulds with a hole for sidelights.
picture supplied.
Is there anyone out there with the knowledge of what this is from so i can reunite it with a needing owner.

I'm not sure exactly, but it looks to me like a headlight that ought to be fitted into fairing or panelling of some sort. If it isn't a car headlight I'd look into police bikes, the ariel leader, scooters; that sort of thing.
