How much oil in a 250 R/E

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knew how much oil I should put into 1959 Royal Enfield Crusader?
I'm not 100% certain and the high-low on the dipstick is quite a large gap so its not very precise!
Cheers, Jonah

Fill the engine till the oil reaches the high mark.
When the oil reaches the low mark, put some more oil in.

On a Royal Oilfield you will neeed to do that quite a lot.

I think I will do that, I was just wondering if there was a specific volume I should be putting in.
Thank you anyway!
