I would try those for a similar sized engine. I can post those specs for a 3TA, if you want them?

Later B25-B44/ B50, jets somewhere  in between the 350 & 440, maybe some War Department B40s had concentric carb's on them?

Hi wetdog
Use the settings from the later Ariel's fitted with a Monobloc as a starting point, they wont be far out

WD B40s used the Amal   type 626  Concentric carburettor;

Amal use to be @ 6,Holford Road, Witton, Birmingham 6. Maybe they stillare?

If you other sources prove inadequate, BMS publishing used to do manuals on carburettors  and their applications.  They used to be @312, High Street, Dorking Surrey.....maybe they stillare but I think someone else took over Bruce Main-Smith publications!

I rather doubt they are JBW as they went bust years ago, though a new Amal supplier is on the scene now.
Surrey Cycles or Hitchcocks are the ones to contact for a new carb.

Just found out in the lunch break that?
The Amal Carburetter Company is a division of Burlen Fuel Systems Limited :

Yep, I remember when Burlen started back in the 1980s. One outlet in Spitfire House....how appropriate. They were crap suppliers even back then..... ;)

well Burlen are but a few miles from me, always found them helpful, and the replacement monobloc from them works fine.

Mind you if you  are one of those that spend ages on the phone asking bloody daft questions............... ::) ::) :-X

I've never phoned them to ask questions, daft or otherwise, but if I wanted info, then I would expect any supplier to answer, whether they might consider the question daft or not.

One question I maybe should have phoned and asked, is "why do your new carbs come with a free selection of swarf and casting flash?".
Sending out new carbs world-wide unfit for use as they're full of shit swarf, now >:( that's daft..
