« on: March 12, 2015, 09:29:41 AM »
hi,i have a monet goyon s2 and i'm having a lot of trouble finding a new ignition coil, can anybody help in identifying what type of magneto coil i can use.i have tried villiers company, and there reply was that they didn't supply this type of coil even though it was a villiers engine made under licence by monet goyon.i cannot find any number on the coil.it's a98cc twin exhaust around 1937.As i am a beginner i'm having a lot of fun trying to put this bike back on the road, but i need some help any info would be very helpful.ive found coils on the net but not sure of the right one to buy.thanks for looking peter.

You could try the Monet Goyon site, www.monet-goyon.com or depending on where you live, get the old coil rewound. Any firm that rewinds ignition coils for vintage cars should be able to rewind your ignition coil.
Best of luck,
