Raleigh restoration project for sale.
« on: May 02, 2017, 01:30:47 PM »
Hi All.

I hope someone here is crying out for a restoration project.
I have an old Raleigh motorcycle project that i just can't get the time to start due to 2 other projects on the go.
What you see in the photos is what you get.
There is some damage to the engine and side casing.
The front fork has a small bend on it.
The tank is rusted and has holes on the bottom.
I can send more photos on request.
I have no price in mind at the moment as i don't know what it's worth. I will see what interest i get first.
I live in Cambridge, UK
PM me if you want more info or to have a chat.
Frame number, 7701
Engine number, 7179

Personally I'd view that as a spares only item, too far gone, too many missing parts to restore and so I'd price it accordingly, as to how much I wanted the bits.

Vintage Raleighs are a nice little bike, I've had 4, but they are not that rare.

Bung it on ebay,  it will find a buyer as the last mug has not been born yet.
