BSA bantam??

 just bought bsa motor in a basket.would like help with ID.it is bsa single that much i know.#s on crank case,BD3,13617.also were can i find internal engine parts..

It is a 1954 Bantam D3 model.

I think I have given the wrong YEAR informaton as I think this should be 1956-7 NOT 1954..Sorry!
But D3 correct.

What exactly are you unsure about?

am not sure of CCs.dont want to buy wrong rebuild parts.is my first brit rebuild.not first british just first brit build.

A D3 should be 148cc so should have a standard cylinder bore size of 57mm.

thank you for your help.also can you give me some direction as to were to find parts on the web.so far havent had much luck.lots of BSA parts but nobody carries bantam.looks like i might be in trouble with this one.not many places to look in the awesome state of Oregon,USA.
