i have a bsa bantam 1966  colour in log book is blue  silver ,would this make it a bantam silver, thanks for your help

This may help. I'd never heard of the Silver, but apparently it was an economy model.

I had one back in 1987 bought from a postcard in the local paper shop window. From memory the only difference was the tank panels were silver paint rather than chrome, and presumably it was an economy model to use up stocks of the three speed engine unit before the introduction of the four speed D13.

I'm relying on memory here...

The Silver Bantam was only made for one year, 1967, but announced in 1966. The designation was D10, and it had a 3 speed gearbox. Later D10's were the first that had a four speed. Both were 175's.

So, to answer, not sure if it is or isnt a Silver Bantam.
