Kerry, I noticed your message re the VP Viper and am able to help. The Viper was a post-war version of the Swallow Sidecars model 8. Ron Pier had a Norton/Viper combination (images available on the HMVF website) and sent me some measurements of the body which I enclose; Ron's e-mail address is    ronpier@talk21.com    and he'll be happy to offer advice if he can.
