Just checked the workshop manual I was lucky enough to get off of Ebay yesterday - looks like your right about the gearchange. Lever is a bit bent though. But one up, rest down seems right. Just checked - clearance is the issue. Non-standard exhaust obviously so will have to try to sort that out too!


Took her for a run yesterday but the revs rise with application of throttle and stay there! Wonder if the carbs need adjusted as when you press down on throttle stop screw the revs die. But when you adjust them both down it still rises!

My first post...

This is my new (well, I'm the new owner) 1970 Honda CB250K0! It's 4 years older than me, runs great and needs a lot of work!

I plan to strip her to the frame, do lots of work, then keep her for sunny days!

Already went a little journey on her - first is one up and the rest are down!!! Quite a fun little thing to ride!

So here is the winter project (may turn into a longer project than that!!)....
