Hi - I am new to this forum 1st post -  I have a 400/4 which i totally restored when David Silver spares was operating from a room in london in 1986 and evertyhing from him seemed to be a tenner including the rear fender!!

I have just bought an early (Jan 1970 reg)  CB750 K0 model frame 1010382 candy red. I need kind advice from a CB750 guru on this model. Basic details are:

1) Should this model have cut off fenders? The front one has blanked off holes from orig. number plate and the front corners appears to be have been shaped by previous owner. The pic on the net of the K0 at Beauleigh has rounded over front fender edges I think.
2) It has K2 and not ducktail seat fitted. Does anyone have experience of covers and foam available for K0 ducktail seat? CMSNL sell them plus others on Ebay but i dont wanta plastic basepan.
3) Has HM341 not 300 4 into 4 so i will need to change these I think
4) Motor is diecast - would this have been laquered originally?
5) Has correct side covers and badges and top half of colour coded airbox but not bottom half.
6) Not sure if it has recessed ignition switch.
7) Has oval rear light (like my old CD175A sloper had). is this correct?
8) has original 4 cable operated keihin carbs fitted.

Any advice greatfully received - this is my winter project!!

Kind regards,

Ashley
