European and Other Bikes / Photo's needed of your Italian bike for book
« on: August 21, 2009, 02:11:32 PM »
Hi, I was wondering if you can help me? I've recently written a book on IXO's "Museum" motorcycle collection. Basically this comprises 24 classic motorcycles from 1923-1984 that are 1:24 scale. What I would like please are the following pictures of Italian motorcycles to use in said book.
1) Laverda 750 SFC right and left side
2) Ducati Desmo 350 right and left side
3) Moto Guzzi Le Mans right and left side

As you can gather, I have asked permission from motorcycle owners, some whose work is submitted in Vintagebike, who have given this to me. If you send me photo(s) and grant me permission, this will of course be duly noted in the credits. Please feel free to send photos or ask questions to e-mail address thebrownefive@yahoo.co.uk. Thanks for your time, in anticipation Nick Browne.

European and Other Bikes / Peugeot 55GL, have you any info on this bike?

Hello, I was wondering if you can help? I'm currently writing a book, on a brief history of the motorcycle, based on IXO's museum collection. Basically, they've made 24 die-cast models  depicting innovative motorcycles from 1923-1984. For some bizarre reason they've included the Peugeot 55GL, for which I can find hardly any information. All I have so far is the general statistics, so if anyone has any knowledge on this bike I'd appreciate you sharing it with me. This would be duly noted in the credits, many thanks, Nick

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help? I've recently written a book on the brief history of the motorcycle, that includes the Kawasaki Mach 4 but have tried to no avail in obtaining a photo of said bike. If you have a photo I could use, I would be most grateful and this would be duly noted in the credits. Thanks for your time, Nick.
