Yes from photo's on the Dutch DKW site seems like a '51. Very cool looking bikes !

Given he was in Holland, I'm guessing DKW, I found a photo of a 1954 with the same front and rear suspension, I can't make out the tank badge but the LH case definitely starts with a D. Just the seat that throws me off, but maybe it was an option.

Hello,

I have this old photo of my Uncle in Holland sitting on this bike. I thought it might be a BSA but can't find a match. I wish i could ask him but he has passed on. If anyone knows what the bike is it would be greatly appreciated.
