British Bikes / Triumph 3TA ign/lighting switch wiring

I’m trying to rewire my 1959 ish Triumph 3TA which is a 6V positive earth, alternator, distributor system. The ignition circuit is straight forward but I’m having difficulty with the lighting switch alternator/rectifier connections. I purchased a new loom for this model but the original nacelle has long since been replaced with a Lucas pattern 6 1/2" Headlamp Lucas with lighting switch+ammeter switchpanel. I can't find any information on the terminal connections for the original PRS8 switch nor the what appears to be Lucas U39 switch that i have.
The Triumph wiring diagram switch schematic of the PRS8 is of no use to me either as it don’t show the linked terminal connections for the off – pilot - main positions or perhaps I just can’t interpret the schematic correctly.
I've connected the lights to what i consider to be the correct terminals on my U39 switch for off/pilot/main, but am unsure where to connect my altenator green/yellow wire and rectifier purple + dark green wires.
Can anyone please shed some light on this.
