 ??? Can anyone advice me about the late 1930's excelsior auto bike with a villous engine, and also the 1948 excelsior minor.Wanting as much info as poss and also a guide price they bouth require minimal restoration. Regards mags4373. ;D

Seeking advice! New to the game of classic bikes. I have the oppertunity to purchase to britsh excelsiours, the first being the auto bike belived to be late 1930's with no paperwork and a 98cc vilous engine which all seems to ring true. Te second being a documented 1948 excelsiour  minor with a 98cc vilous engine which again rings true! Could any one advice me of what would be a fair price to pay for these bikes. They are in reasnoble condition but do require some restoration. Regards mags4373.
