Hi Andy,
Read your 'wanted' on the site , and wondered if youv'e found your bike yet . If not give me a call on the address below as I have a T3 project for sale . Dismantled by previous owner , to restore , and bought by me with the same intention , but it looks a bit much for me so I've decided to pass it on .
I'm on ;     willse2@yahoo.co.uk
Regards,
Will.

Wanted Bikes / looking for Gilera
« on: February 26, 2006, 03:49:24 AM »
Looking for a Gilera Arcore 150 . I'd prefer a tidy usable machine as I already have a project on the go . I know these machines aren't popular , but I had one years ago and enjoyed it . Many thanks.

The Classic Biker Bar / Re: Where to sell?

This site is as good as most for selling older stuff if the price is sensible . It depends what you are selling , and if you want to pass it on or make a killing !
Best of luck ....

The Classic Biker Bar / Re: HELP WITH VALUE OF 56 GILERA
« on: March 02, 2006, 02:46:25 AM »
Maybe this will kickstart a discussion on 'classics' ,which your Gilera definately is . Its hard to give a definitive answer to your Question as so much depends on condition . Some people seem to think obscure models are worth megabux and there are some ( me included ) who just like to poodle around the lanes on them and will pay a fair price for a nice bike . The best way to evaluate is to keep an eye on sites like this one and scan the ads in the classic comics for like models . I tend to ignore dealers in these kind of things as they all have a vested interest in promoting ''classic '' prices . Best of luck ,

Hi ,
to add to Pulmans reply , there is also a BIG show at Stafford in October . Although supposedly more for Jap/Euro machines , I've found stacks of Brit stuff there every year .
Best of luck ,
Will.

Japanese Bikes / Re: Fuel for Yoshi CB750 F1

I've run several Honda and Suzuki fours on this modern gunk that they try to convince us is petrol and had no problems other than starting if the bike is laid up for a while without running . Not sure if the compression ratio of your Yoshi will give any trouble though . Best of luck.

Hi Everyone , new to this , so please indulge an old motorcyclist ! Does anyone know where I can get luggage to fit my Honda Big 'un ? It is an import with no pillion grab rail on the tailpiece ? Givi and such  don't seem to look right . Any suggestions ?

Hi Nigel,
Sorry to see you still have problems . From what I've read you have pretty much covered the fuelling , so have a word with Tony Cooper m/cs about your mag . Does the problem seem worse as the engine warms up ? My Red Hunter had a similar fault some years ago , and was cured by a mag rebuild .
Best of luck ,
Will

I'm guessing you've already checked things like petrol tank breather , and globs of water in the floatbowl . Just a thought . Hope it is something simple .

Not difficult , but you'll need a barrel and piston , head , carb and exhaust , you may find that the crank balance factor is different too , so vibes might be a problem . Best of luck !!
