The Coventry Eagle you are looking at is from the 1930s.  It is hard to find and they came with 150 and 250cc Villiers motors.  If I lived out there I'd pick up the CE and find a motor for it.  The Villiers motors a pretty common and were used in other British bikes at the time.  I picked up a 150cc Villiers the other day off of EBay.  If you like what the bike looks like and are going to keep it, I go for it.

I'll send this pics as soon as the email goes through.  I'm in California but I have no problem paying for shipping.  I've been buying and selling between the UK and US for a couple years now.

I have a 1935 Coventry Eagle the someone tried to restore years ago and messed everything up.  Someone ground down the flywheel and put in points from a Chevy in it.  I'm looking for the whole set up, the plate, flywheel, points.  Does anyone have someting for me.  I can email pics of everything I have to show part numbers if that would help fing the correct parts.  Please help me out, this thing has been in the shop for 8 months.

Thanks,
Chris

Autojumble / Lightweight Gearbox needed
« on: October 30, 2011, 10:11:06 PM »
I'm in need of a complete small lightweight gearbox for a 147cc Villiers 2-stroke motor.  It is for a custom build and I missed out on a small Albion today on ebay.  2 or 3 speed, hand or foot shift.   If you think you have something I can use please drop me an email.  Robertriley312@hotmail.com

 Thanks, Chris
