Autojumble / Flying flea ignition coil
« on: February 23, 2015, 11:12:15 PM »
I am in desperate need of an ignition coil for my 1943 Royal Enfield WD/RE 125cc more commonly known as a "flying flea", I have had the engine running with a battery and coil and it runs really well, so if anyone has a spare coil I would be very grateful, thanks for your time.

British Bikes / Re: Smoking Triumph
« on: February 23, 2015, 10:59:37 PM »
My Tiger 90 does exactly the same thing, rebuilt the engine, re bore new pistons, new valves n guides, Morgo oil pump and engine runs sweetly but from start up it smokes for about 3 minutes then its fine. If I drop the oil from the sump before starting it doesn't smoke, I fitted a new pressure relief unit incase that wasn't sealing properly but no time as yet to check it has made any difference.

British Bikes / Triumph Model W 1927
« on: September 15, 2013, 09:51:50 AM »
Hello to all, I have recently aquired this Triumph model W 1927 277cc and have been in contact with Peter (vmcc) for info and has been very helpful and is sending me one of his booklets. My main corcern with the machine is the exhaust system which requires replacing, I need to find someone who can make one within a sensible distance of Swansea UK. The pipe and silencer on the bike at present are all wrong so cannot be used as a pattern, so the machine will have to be taken to the maker, can anyone recommend a good fabricator to do this work.
I have other questions which I will keep for another day, I have added a photo which I hope is not too big, many thanks in advance.

Colin
