My Bantam struggled up to the mid-60s in mph, so the stated speed shocked & impressed @ the same time, I cannot remember the retail price of the bike but it was high compared to the more common 125s on the market @ that time, the Learner limit was still 250cc, a mate had bought a 250cc Ducati OHV single, that was approaching that speed with clip-ons e.t.c.
