Identify these bikes! / Anyone recognise this petrol tank?

Hi all,
I bought this tank simply because I liked its shape but I'm intrigued about its origin. In steel, it's approx 380mm long (excl lugs), 265mm wide and 185mm high. 1.5" filler with twin petcock outlets. 2 threaded hex bungs on the underside near to the tunnel. Also appears to be artisan gas welded as opposed to production line electric resistance welded.
It looks Panther M100-ish but it doesn't have the dimple in the top.
Any ideas?
