Japanese Bikes / Z1300 Pick-Ups.. HELP!

I was wondering if anyone here can offer some advice for a mate of mine who is restoring a 1981 Z1300. He is having probs with obtaining some parts for the electrical. In particular he tells me he needs a set of (three?) 'Pick-ups'... I presume these are ignition pick-ups... for his Z1300. He had some ordered from Germany but the tolerances are all wrong. Can you tell me if these parts are available? or are there stock parts, not OEM, that can be used instead of the original? Any suggestions or help would be very much appreciated.
