G'day all. New member here. Just picked up a 74 Honda CB550 Four. Great shape. 23,000 miles (Canada). Previous owner had it on the road all last year. Rode well enough to get it home without incident. An hour or so.
I notice though when its idling there's a knocking. You can feel it too.
It bogs a little at around the 3-4000 rpm mark, which may be related or another problem.
Needs to go in the shop shortly for safety inspection and I would like to have a ballpark idea of what I'm looking at here before the mechanic presents me with a list...
So, any ideas on the knocking? The bogging?
Cheers
